The launch arrived in signature Xodus style: a cinematic short film released across the brand’s social media platforms, introducing the first wave of OLYMPIX visuals and setting the tone for a season built on “champion-level vibes” — where every reveler becomes an athlete of rhythm, every section becomes a team, and every jump is a victory lap.
OLYMPIX draws inspiration from the pageantry of competition — arenas, torches, podium moments, and the pursuit of glory — but reimagines it through a distinctly Carnival lens: colour, freedom, and community at the center. The theme invites masqueraders to step into a world where the “games” are powered by soca, the “events” are fetes, and the medals are memories made on the road.
According to The Jamaica Gleaner, Pierre Goubault, CEO of Xodus Carnival, emphasised, “This theme is unlike anything we’ve ever done. Xodus OlympiX reimagines carnival through the spirit of sport, power, unity, excellence and celebration. It was a risk, but it has translated into some of our strongest and most meaningful designs to date.”
Xodus aims to expand further into international markets—particularly Spanish-speaking ones—to help boost international tourism, a major source of income for the island that is now needed more than ever as Jamaica works to recover from the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. Goubault highlighted “In the worldwide carnival space, Jamaica is ready to claim the number one spot.”
Following this year`s official launch, revelers can look forward to the return of Xodus Wet and more events such as Xodus Fete Gala, Xodus Tailgate, Lost in Paradise, Bacchanal x Xodus x Red Antz J`ouvert and Xodus Remedy.
With OLYMPIX, Xodus is positioning 2026 as more than a theme — it’s a call to action. The arena is open, the rhythm is the referee, and freedom is the prize.
